While the location is undeniably good and the prices are quite reasonable, the payment policy here is absolutely dreadful. On a Saturday at 5 PM, I encountered a broken EC card machine, an unresponsive call button, and no staff visible anywhere. This meant payment was only possible in cash, despite there being just one machine in the entire parking garage – quite the welcome to Germany. To make matters worse, the machine wouldn't accept a €50 note unless the total amount was over €31, a bizarre counting policy you'd expect at a kebab shop, not in the middle of Mitte. I certainly cannot recommend this place.

It's truly frustrating to encounter a parking facility that has exclusively accepted cash payments for years; frankly, this raises serious questions about potential tax evasion, and I believe it warrants a boycott. Beyond the questionable payment practices, the entire place feels incredibly neglected, being both severely outdated and quite dirty. It's evident that the proprietors have no interest in providing a positive experience for their patrons, which sadly reinforces the notion of Germany as a "service desert," where the primary focus seems to be solely on profit. To make matters worse, the crucial information about cash-only payment is only visible at the payment machine itself, not when you're entering or leaving the premises.

Parking here provides a central spot that's quite budget-friendly. The hourly rate is 2 Euros, and the maximum charge for a full day is capped at 20 Euros. It's also accommodating for larger cars, though careful maneuvering is certainly advised.

I found this parking garage to be quite restrictive, as it's only accessible until 8 PM. Furthermore, paying for parking is exclusively by card, and you're also required to input your vehicle's license plate number, which adds a step. While the overall process is straightforward, the parking fees struck me as rather expensive, though I suppose that's often the case in the city center.

With an hourly rate set at 2€, the value for money provided here is genuinely good.

The parking garage itself was acceptable, and I found the 20 Euro daily rate to be more affordable than my hotel's option, but I was genuinely shocked to discover they don't accept card payments and only take cash bills up to 20 Euros. The adjacent bike shop, clearly accustomed to such inquiries, unfortunately couldn't help me with change, and my subsequent attempts to break a 50 Euro note at various businesses along Friedrichstraße were all unsuccessful. Ultimately, I had to make a small purchase at dm just to get the necessary change, an unexpected detour that added another hour to my parking time, effectively costing me an extra 2 Euros. For a parking facility located at the International Trade Center, the complete lack of modern payment options is truly unacceptable and utterly substandard.

We consistently find ourselves returning to park here whenever our travels bring us to Berlin. Its location is truly exceptional, offering a highly central base. From this convenient spot, we can comfortably stroll to the Brandenburg Gate and explore the government district. Even for me, at over 60 years old, walking to the Reichstag presents no difficulty whatsoever, and popular areas like the Hackesche Höfe are also within easy reach, along with many other sights.
